The lighter the hair, the more intense the color will be. Pre-lightened or blonde bases allow the pigments to show at their fullest vibrancy, while darker bases will naturally mute the final result. This makes starting level the most important factors when aiming for bold, high-impact tones.

For increased intensity, the shampoo can be applied directly to dry hair. Without the dilution of water, the pigments deposit stronger and more evenly, creating a richer and more saturated result. 

This technique is especially useful when working with clients who want maximum vibrancy in a single application.

Hair levels 7 and below will still accept color deposit, but the result will appear softer and less vivid. On these darker levels, the color tends to blend more subtly into the natural base, creating tonal reflections rather than bold, standout shades.
